MASTER OF PHYSIOTHERAPY (MPT) IN ORTHOPAEDICS
• Eligibility Criteria: BPT from any recognized University. As per WBUHS, with minimum 55% Marks
• Intake Capacity: 3 seats each course.
• Seat Matrix: 20% seats are reserved under State / Govt. quota and 80% seats are under Management quota.
• Mode of Admission: Through entrance examination conducted by the University (WBUHS)

Career Prospect:
a) Can get job as a “Senior Physiotherapist” or “Chief Consultant Physiotherapist” at various Central/State Govt/Private Hospitals, Disability Rehabilitation Centers, and Health Care Centers at various levels.
b) Can get job as “Chief Physiotherapist”, “Chief Consultant Physiotherapist” at various Private Rehabilitation Centers, Fitness Centers etc.
c) Can get job as “Chief Physiotherapist” as a part of the support staff at various Govt. sponsored or Private sponsored Sports Academies, Clubs, and Training Centers etc.
d) Can set up his or her own Clinic, Physiotherapy Rehabilitation Centers.
e) Can join a Physiotherapy college or Institution as an “Asst. Professor”.
f) Can organize “Hands-on Workshops” or “Demonstration Sessions” on his own
